Sukkot With Shalom

Sukkot is z’man simchateinu, the time of our rejoicing, and we are excited to once again gather together as the family of Shalom Macon to celebrate the goodness, faithfulness, and presence of God.

From the beginning, God set apart His appointed times, and three of them—the pilgrimage festivals of Pesach, Shavuot, and Sukkot—were given as opportunities for His people to gather together before Him. While we may not be making the journey to Jerusalem, there is something deeply sacred about God’s people coming together as one to rejoice, worship, and celebrate all He has done.

Over the past year, we have continued to see the blessing of gathering as a Shalom family. Through our shared moments of worship, prayer, fellowship, and celebration, God has continued to build something special among us. Now, we are thrilled to welcome everyone back to Shalom Macon for Sukkot—a weekend set apart for rejoicing, refreshing, and reconnecting.

Sukkot with Shalom will be filled with opportunities to worship together, celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles, and experience the joy of community. From Kabbalat Shabbat and Shabbat worship to shared meals, Sukkah Socials, and a concert, there will be space to encounter God and enjoy the gift of being together. This year, we are also blessed to welcome a special Ushpizin (guest), Jacob Fronczak, who will join us throughout the weekend and share in teaching and fellowship with our Shalom family.

Whether you are joining us from nearby or traveling from afar, this weekend is an opportunity to renew friendships, build new connections, and be refreshed in the presence of the Lord. These moments of gathering are truly special, and every time our Shalom family comes together, we are reminded of the beauty of what God is creating.
