Shalom!

This year Derek Limbaugh will be leading Shalom Macon's first ever Tikkun Leil Hoshana Rabbah study! Known as the Night of King David. This is an all night study done on Hoshana Rabbah, the last night of Sukkot. Traditionally, the book of Devarim (Deuteronomy) is studied the first half of the night, with Tehillim (Psalms) studied the second half. We do plan to stick to the traditional format, but there will be teaching throughout and an emphasis on the connection to the book of Revelation as well. In addition to this, we will be discussing the significance of Hoshana Rabbah, why it is unique compared to the other days of Sukkot, and some of the customs. Just like our study on Shavuot, we will explore deep Torah topics that I pray will illuminate your heart and draw you nearer to HaShem, His Service, and His Son. If you would like a little more information about Hoshana Rabbah, please check out some facts about this special day from Chabad:

We would love for you all to join, and we will hopefully finish in time to get a few hours rest before Shacharit service at 10:00 AM. This is open to young adults and up! Truly, I hope this study will transform the way you see the last day of Sukkot, Deuteronomy, Revelation, but especially the Psalms.

Formal registration for this event is not required, but please contact Derek Limbaugh (dereklimbaugh102621@gmail.com) if you are interested in attending or have any questions.
