Sukkot
Sukkot with Shalom
Join us October 10-12, 2025 as we celebrate this unique holiday! Think less “conference room” and more “family reunion with a divine purpose.”
Please note that the Sukkot with Shalom event will be held during the weekend only. However, we have a full schedule of local events happening throughout the entire festival of Sukkot!
Shalom and Chag Sameach!
We’re so glad to welcome you to Shalom Macon's Sukkot festivities —a joyful time to gather, give thanks, and reconnect with tradition and one another. As we come together under the sukkah, we celebrate not just the harvest season, but the blessings from above, hospitality, and community.
Sukkot invites us to step outside our routines, share meals under the open sky, and welcome both friends, old and new, with open arms. Whether you're here for one event or the full festival, we are so grateful you're part of this special week with us.
Please note that these events are NOT all a part of the Sukkot with Shalom weekend event. However we would love for you to join us for a variety of meaningful and festive local events throughout the entire holiday:

Chag Sameach!
The most famous part of the Sukkot celebration has to do with the sukkah, the temporary dwelling. But there is another component of the holiday which is mentioned even before God commands us to dwell in Sukkot. It called the arba minim, the four kinds, and it has a lot to say about you, your heart, and your joy. We’ll investigate that story in this teaching.
Sukkot—The Feast of Tabernacles—is the "Season Of Our Joy." And it's only a few days away. But sometimes, joy can be difficult to muster, especially in a world that's falling apart around us. Join Rabbi Damian as he helps us "nail down" our joy in preparation for this Sukkot season.
Join us as we dive into the deep significance of Sukkot, a festival that extends far beyond Israel. Explore how this joyous celebration, rooted in ancient tradition, carries a profound message of unity between Israel and the nations. Discover the biblical foundations of God’s universal plan and how Sukkot offers an open invitation to all people to gather under His protection and rejoice. Let’s celebrate together, Jew and Gentile alike, as we reflect on the present and look forward to the future!
