What is Beit Shalom?

A Shabbat guest house with four private en suite rooms, a full kitchen where Shabbat meals can come to life, and a gathering space designed for making new fellowship connections.

Imagine This

You're finally making the trip to Macon. You arrive at Beit Shalom, settle into your room, then head to the kitchen where another family is already prepping vegetables. By the time Shabbat candles are lit, your kids are playing together and you're swapping stories with people who, an hour ago, were strangers. That's what we're building.

Beit Shalom will still offer private, secure space for lodging. But while tiny homes offered a place to sleep, this will be much more. Shalomies from around the world can travel to visit Shalom Macon in person, stay comfortably on-site, and carry special memories of new friends home with them. A Space That Serves Year-Round

When traveling members aren't visiting, Beit Shalom serves our local community too—giving us space to host events, retreats, and gatherings year-round. It's an investment that works 365 days a year.

Where We Stand

Construction is slated to begin first quarter 2026, with completion planned for the Fall Holidays. The donations that come in during this end-of-year campaign will determine whether we break ground on schedule and welcome families by next fall.

Special Giving Opportunity

We are offering a limited number of suite sponsorships for donors able to make a significant investment in the Shabbat House. These sponsors will be honored with a permanent plaque on the suite door, creating a lasting tribute and helping us fully prepare these spaces for the many Shalomies who will stay, study, and celebrate with us.
